Their story, marked by three groundbreaking albums in the early 1970s, is a testament to their resilience in the face of prejudice in the UK music industry. Despite being overlooked in their homeland, their music found a home in the hearts of fans worldwide, influencing genres from hip-hop to house. Their upcoming documentary features interviews with industry heavyweights, highlighting their enduring impact. Concurrently, Cymande will embark on a global tour supporting the film, introducing their music to new generations of fans. In addition, their acclaimed album "Second Time Round" will be reissued on translucent emerald green vinyl, a nod to their influential legacy.
