Floating Points is the project of Sam Shepherd, an electronic musician and DJ from the UK, based in London. His sound moves fluidly between techno, house, ambient, jazz, and classical composition, driven by a deep fascination with rhythm, texture, and sound design.

Equally at home on the dancefloor and in more experimental settings, Floating Points blends complex electronic structures with warmth and emotional depth. As a DJ, he is known for long, exploratory sets in which genre boundaries dissolve and unexpected connections emerge. His approach is curious, detailed, and constantly evolving, rooted in both club culture and a wider musical language.
