Monstera Occulta is a Brussels-based DJ whose sets weave together percussion, electronic textures and sonic echoes from Arab cultures and the diaspora. As a member of the Femmebass collective, she creates immersive musical worlds where rhythmic trance meets the warmth of traditional sounds and the tension of contemporary club production. Her selections are rooted in SWANA music and expand toward global bass, moving between organic percussion, hypnotic synths and deconstructed rhythms. Through these layers, Monstera Occulta builds bridges between memory and the dancefloor, exploring soundscapes where the raw and the warm coexist, inviting a deeply physical and collective experience. Alongside her club performances, she is also active on radio, with residencies on Bruzz Ice Radio and Radio Campus, as well as regular appearances on Kiosk Radio. Recent performances include Fissa at the OutLoud Festival, Tashattot, Matinée, and Not Your Techno.
