Stella & The Longos is the collaborative project of Stella Zekri and Ed Longo, born from a shared obsession with forgotten records and deep crate-digging culture. Both DJs and collectors, they draw inspiration from outer-national sounds and the multicultural French productions of the 80s. Formed around the release of their debut album Detends-Toi in 2023, the band brings together musicians with roots spanning Germany, France, Italy, Cuba, the UK and Poland. Their sound pays tribute to 80s zouk and boogie, filtered through the lens of the Paris underground and reimagined for contemporary dancefloors. With their second album Amour Propre set for release in 2025, the project captures the energy of their live performances, expanding into a more organic, daring and fully alive expression of groove-driven club music.
