Our catering partner wins Sustainability Award at Gault&Millau.

Huis Van Dijck - part of Sodexo and the team behind our crew, VIP and camper catering at Paradise City - received the Sustainability Award at the Gault&Millau Event Catering Awards 2026. An award that recognises work that largely happens behind the scenes, but that matters as much as anything visible on the festival grounds.

A partnership built on shared values

For several years now, Huis Van Dijck and Sodexo have been our partners for crew catering, VIP hospitality and camping at Paradise City. Together, we run a 100% plant-based kitchen across all these areas - from the Innerbloom Comfort Zone to the campsite breakfast buffet. Every dish is plant-based, locally and seasonally sourced where possible, served in reusable or compostable packaging, and assessed for its carbon footprint.

That last part matters more than it might seem. Calculating the CO₂ footprint of individual dishes forces real decisions — about ingredients, sourcing, preparation methods and portion sizes. It's the kind of rigour that turns good intentions into measurable progress.

Together with Huis Van Dijck and Sodexo, we keep raising the bar on what sustainable event catering can look like. This award is a recognition of that shared commitment - and a motivation to keep going.
