Paradise City, CUPRA and VI.BE launch open call for new DJ talent

Paradise City is joining forces with CUPRA and VI.BE to give three emerging DJs the chance to play at the festival this summer.

The selected artists will perform on June 26, 27 and 28 at the CUPRA Garage, a compact and high-energy dancefloor on the festival grounds famous for its peak atmosphere and early momentum. Tucked away between the larger stages, it’s a space where things tend to escalate quickly (in the best possible way), both for the crowd and the DJs behind the decks.

The open call is aimed at young DJs with a strong affinity for high-energy club music. Think house, trance, UKG or anything that leans in that direction. Rather than focusing on experience or profiles, the selection will revolve around musical identity, flow and the ability to build and maintain energy. It’s about how you play, not where you’ve played.

The collab initiative with CUPRA fits within Paradise City’s broader approach to programming, where established international artists share space with emerging talent and local scenes. By working with VI.BE, the Belgian platform for emerging artists and musicians, the festival opens up a direct pathway for new DJs to move from online discovery to a live festival setting. Those selected will find themselves on the line-up alongside artists such as Marlon Hoffstadt, Interplanetary Criminal, Helena Lauwaert, Malugi, Mall Grab, Job Jobse, DJ HEARTSTRING, Benwal, mischluft and many more.

How to take part? DJs interested in applying can do so via VI.BE, where all practical details and submission guidelines are available.
