Last year we introduced something new. This year it's back, bigger and with a lineup that feels exactly right for what the Barefoot Stage is meant to be.

The concept is simple: leave your shoes at the entrance, step inside onto soft ground, and let the music do the rest. Beach sand underfoot, vintage rugs, flowing fabrics and natural light filtering through a transparent canopy. A space designed to slow things down and open things up, away from the energy of the larger stages, but no less alive. Every artist on the Barefoot Stage has been invited to dig into the soulful, the funky, the warm and groovy corners of their record bags. Soul, funk, hip hop, R&B and groove-driven music: felt rather than just heard. Even the names you recognise will play differently in here.

The lineup:

• Friday Bass Toast · Bibi Seck · Danniella Dee · DJ Sweet6teen · Donna Bummer · Jeroen Delodder · Marie-Julie · Rick Baguette
• Saturday Ays · Bongo HI-Fi · Chloé Caillet · Erykah · John Noseda · Mo Yasin · Toolate Groove · Tori Ann
• Sunday Bonifaz · Charmaine · Helena Lauwaert (back to the roots set) · Lefto · Retromigration · Stella Zekri

The Barefoot Stage is open all three days, June 26, 27 and 28, at Kasteel Ribaucourt in Perk. No shoes required.
