Tunegirl (live)

Tunegirl grew up on hard rock in the 70s, obsessed with bands like AC/DC and Status Quo before picking up his first electric guitar. By the 80s, funk, soul and early synth pop shifted his focus. Discovering drum machines and synthesizers opened a new world, and artists from Detroit’s techno movement sparked a lasting fascination with minimalist, machine-driven sound. After early experiments with hardware, a long break from music followed. In 2009 he returned through software, but something felt missing. The real turning point came with modular synthesis. Discovering Eurorack systems reshaped his entire approach, allowing him to jam freely and build tracks from raw, evolving textures rather than rigid arrangements. Today, modular gear is his instrument of choice. His sound balances techno, acid and house influences, driven by hands-on improvisation and a deep love for machines that breathe, pulse and transform in real time.
